I am new to databases and SQL Server Express. I justed installed SQL Server Express 2005 and SQL Server Management Studio Express. I created a new database under the Databases folder and clicked Add.
Next I right click the new database and select tasks-->restore-->database
Then I select "From Device" from the Source for restore and click the ellipsis(...) button.
I have been given a template database to restore from. I put it on the C drive of the Windows 2003 Server. I select the template database off the C drive from the Locate Backup File screen and hit OK
I put a check in the restore box and then click the Options page in the upper left hand corner. I put a check in the "overwrite the existing database" box and hit OK. I get the following error.
