hello ..
i have one db is its mdf size is 2 TB and ldf file is 500 gb ...
I am working oon sqlserver2008...
its every week end full backup of the db and evry 4 hr diff backup and evry 30 mins transaction log backup is we defind...
unfortunately, yesterday onwards .ldf file is increasing 200 gb ..at the same time disk also shwoing not much free space ..
rite i want to shrink .ldf file ..
i tryed DBCC
SHRINKFILE(2,
100)
i tried so many time ... eve ...
