Hello, I'm trying to configure an app to be non-persistant. When the user closes the browser or opens a new tab I want the user to be prompted with login and the current session to expire. This is proving to be very difficult for a seeminly easy problem.
In login I am checking username/pass against db. Then if user checks out I am calling
FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(userid, false);
In Session_End in global.asax I have Session.Abandon and FormsAuthentication.Signout();
Also If a user exits a browser window and another user comes along on same computer and logs in the previous session is still active. IE: user can see previous users populated gridview, etc. Any advice?
