Greetings everyone,
I am using the asp.net login control to authenticate the user against LDAP and check if the user is part of a certain group and it's all working excellent, I am not using membership to do that.
What I've been trying to do for the last few days is to protect a folder called secure_area and do not let users in who are not logged in and not member of the group.
I don't know if this is possible but I was thinking the user will be allowed to access the folder based on a cookie, so if the cookie is set and is set to something then allow the user, otherwise do not allow them.
Please help me out here and tell me what are the possible ways to do this.
