 I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I'm having implementing SSL with forms authentication.

 So, we started off with a forms authentication setup...........a folder we wanted to restrict access to called /admin, a login page in the root called /login.aspx. The whole site was set up in IIS to allow anonymous users and windows authentication. This caused a 401.2 access denied error.

 After reading numerous resources on this subject in this forum and from
http://tonesnotes.com/blog/2004/05/aspnet_forms_authentication_wi.html I moved my login page to /login/login.aspx, modified the web config to:
<authentication mode="Forms">
            <forms name=".ASPXAUTH" requireSSL="true"  loginUrl="/login/login.aspx" timeout="30" slidingExpiration="true"/>
 </authentication>
 . ...

Go to the complete details ...
