Hey all, if i placed this question in wrong forum pls advice me so.
Now my question is as follows. I have a small database around 1.5mb actually currently 600kb at the moment. I want to create a standalone application that must run from a cd. All i want the application to do is have a search function so that the user can type in waht they looking for and the data then needs to get pulled from the MS Access database and display to them.
I would like to use a browser/web page for this, but its not the end of the world if i cant run it in a web page. the following fields are in the database:
PART_NO
PART_NAME
MAKER_REF
PRODUCT
UNIT
I only want them to be able to search for 2 fields, namely PART_NAME & PRODUCT
SO, i have Visual Studio Express 2008 installed. What should i use to accomplish this? WPF, Visual C# or C++? What and how must i do to accomplish what i am trying to do. I am currently looking through MSDN website ...
