I'm taking the MS course 2778A Writing Queries Using Microsoft SQL. I'm using the Express versions of both Visual Studio and SQL Server 2008.
I can't open up the project demos that come along with the course. I keep getting an error message that says, "Make sure the application for the project type (.ssmssqlproj) is installed."
I also don't see the option to open/save a solution or project under the "file" menu.
Also, under the "view" menu I don't have a "solution explorer" choice.
I'm thinking this is all related, but I'm not sure what to do. Have I not installed something properly or are these services/application types just not supported in Express versions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
