I hope some one can help me here. I built a web application project that allows users to upload, download, play mp3 files. While developing and testing I uploaded 5 mp3 files, i tested for upload, download, and play MP3 thru an SWF flash object. Everything worked fine. Then I did publish the website and deployed it to production server. When deploying to production server I moved those 5 mp3 files also. Then I visited my production website, clicked on play button for all the 5 MP3 files. Worked good. I was listening to those songs.
As a next step I uploaded a new music file, it got uploaded successfully. Then again I came back to the SWF object page, clicked play button.... boom.... Its not playing the song.
These are the things I investigated. The log files says http referer = http://........ a.swf src=...../a.mp3 . And this request ended up in 401, unathorized error. My question here, is when the SWF flash object can play successfully those 5 MP3 files i copied ...
