Hi all.
I have a website developed in ASP.NET 2 using SQL Server Membership,profile and role providers. I have another application which needs to open a web page in my ASP.NET 2 application using the User Id sent by that application (currently using Query String parameter). I need to programatically log in (authenticate) the user using the User Id sent by the other application. It is required because the profile needs to be populated for that user id as we are using profile properties for varioud data retrieval tasks in the ASP.NET 2 application. How can I achieve this?
