Hi,
I have a working asp.net webform program which uses session variables. The user has to login with username password, by which the user is authenticated against AD.
I added the functionality to implement single signon from another site (implemented in JSP) that does a postback to my default.aspx page. I have written code that uses a shared secret and variables that are posted back to the default.aspx form, to calculate a hash value. Based on this I am able to verify, if a user has logged in or not and continue to the point in the webform where they were before log out.
However, after the postback, I have noticed problems with session variables. The values stored in the session variables are set to null nearly immediately. Is there something wrong that I am doing? How can I ensure that the session variables persist for the entire 20 minutes when session timeout occurs or till I kill the session?
Thanks and Regards,
Sylvester
