Short-time noob... second time caller...
I have a asset tracking database that my users update when they use certiain items.  As I am testing this with a few users before I roll out to everyone, something I had considered and getting alot of feedback on is the ability to copy certain fields after my user fills them in when that same information will be needed to fill out another form.
I thought I could put a button the page that says something similar to "Copy Incident Details" on the page so if my user knows they have more than one item to log to the same incident, they can press the button and it copies that to the clipboard.  However, my limited understanding of copying to the clipboard tells me that probably will not work.
I have 6 fields I would like to have copied for use in a new form...  Date, Incident Number, City, State, Description, and Comments (Comments will be null most of the time).
What is the best ...
