How does this method work? Are the list of roles that an authenticated user belongs to stored in the authorization cookie? Or is the IsInRole method just a wrapper for a method in the providers?
I couldn't find any method in the default MembershipProvider class that would let you do this; I did find that the RoleProvider class has an IsUserInRole() method. So, is IPrinciple.IsInRole just a wrapper for RoleProvider.IsUserInRole?
