Drop Down List

Hi,
I have had experience filtering a drop down list i.e. using query strings, controls so only certian information is displayed, but I want to use  "User.Identity.Name" to compare againts a value in my database, so that the drop down list will only display data that belongs to the user in the drop down list.


Is this possiable ?
