Hi All,I am working on a project where I need to build a library for audio/video manipulation. Idea is, different programs will be using this library (it means those applications will add the library dll in their project) and it will expose OO interface to those apps. this library will call (behind the scene) different audio/video manipulation software to perform specific task. these software dont have dlls that i can use. most of them are only available as command line programs. therefore, i am relied on Diagnostics.Process to communicate with them. Is there any example and best proctices that I should follow when developing these sorts of library. One thing I need to consider that thousands of calls may be made to this library. which means I am potentially calling many Diagnostics.Process to process client program requests. Will it slow things down? is there any problem calls are coming from multiple threads?I appreciate your thoughts on this. ...
