Calling javascript on asp.net textbox onchange event

 Hi there,
   I have a form which has lots of currency fields so I put up a java currency format function for that. However I'm not able to call it on the form load with server code. I tried this on my form load event

  txtCashLoss.Attributes.Add("onchange", "currency(this);");
