Hi everyone.
I have a drop down list as lookup e.g. for countries names I bound data from SQL server database. when user search about e.g person the data will be display in datagrid viewer if user need to update person information he clicks on the row in datagrid viewer and then the data will be displayed in the form. the problem is that when data displayed to the form the first entry in the drop down list will be replace by the person country. e.g. if the first entry is Egypt and the person from US the in dropdown list the first one will be US and there is no egypt in the list.
DropDownList2.SelectedItem.Text = GridView1.SelectedRow.Cells[5].Text;
