I'm having a real struggle with this. Every so often ASP.NET throws a real hard ball. I have a user control which is dynamically loaded and then added to a place holder. The user control has a button within it, and have set an event handler up. However, the event handler is never called, and the user control suddenly goes blank. The event handler is never fired either. So why would this happen? I read that it might be because the id of the control wasn't set, so I also set the ID of the control programmatically, again no luck.
I've added numerous buttons with their OnClick="" pointing to the code behind function, and also using the handles method but no luck. The strange thing is there is no postback and the area of the user control just goes blank?
Its really weird, for such a simple thing why is this not working?
