My JavaScript code calls a lot of PageMethods. All of my PageMethods (web methods) used to reside on the ASPX code behind class. My ASCX controls could access the methods in this way. Now I have moved the ASMX out of my project. It's still in the same folder but the web method is in a different DLL - the methods are not on the class of the ASPX code behind.
This is how I access the web service as PageMethods. It is in the MasterPage.
