Looking for some guidance on how to debug this curious problem I recently hit. Suddenly on my site, registered users are unable to log in unless they have "Remember Me" checked. If they leave it unchecked, they're taken right back to the default home page with no error messages or warnings, and they're not logged in. I ruled out this being a browser caching issue by trying forced refreshes in both IE and FireFox.
I also recently added a Global.asax to do some Url rewriting, and the problem started around then. However, I've removed the file since then and still have this problem, so I think its a bit of a red herring. I just included this info for completeness.
I'd appreciate any hints in how to debug what's going on here. Thanks!
