Lesson 2 and 4 having problems!? (Novice)

First of all I use web developer 2008 express edition

The lessons is in 2005 express edition BETA 

That could possible be why I have problems!

1.When I select 3 textboxes I want to use all of the layout tools but only a few is displayed!! What can I do to resolve this?

2.When I go in to "web.config" to do a profile object exacly like "Bob" does it in Lesson 4. I don't manage to create a profile object to store the values, what can I do wrong!!

What can I do to resolve this?

And by the way in lesson 4 where does he paste that information to the web.config??
