I am trying to implement the toolkit's AutoCompleteExtender and am running into some web service problems (this is not an issue with the toolkit - not yet at least :) I copied and pasted the markup and code from the toolkit's samples into a blank asp.net web site, porting the service to VB. I also copied the web.config over. So, I now have an identical web.config, identical markup and a semantically identical web service.
When the extender didnt work, I browsed directly to the services ASMX file in the browser to test that out in the testing form.
http://localhost:1356/test-toolkit/autocomplete.asmx?op=GetCompletionList
That page loads up fine, but I get a 404 when I submit the test form to try to get a result.
When I run the Toolkit demo, everything works beautifully. As far as I can tell, the only difference is that I am using VB, though the code file should be basically identical.
