I have upgraded a workstation to W7 pro and can't connect it to the domain.
First it wouldn't because it needed .Net 4,0, which is a pain, because you can't get to the internet until you join the domain. Who thought that one up?

I was able to get an internet connection using another router and internet connection. After doing the Windows updates http://connect finds nothing. I tried insatalling the launcher program from a USB drive, but it closes with an error.

edit: I was able to join the domain using a static IP address. However, when I reverted the workstation back to DHCP, it fails to get an address. DHCP is started on the server, and none of the other workstations have this problem.
I recently reinstalled XP on a workstation, and except for the problem of <Net 4.0, I had no problem connecting.
