i have a page (download.aspx) that will run the following code at page load :
string filename = abc.txt Response.ContentType = "text/plain";
Response.AppendHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=" + filename);
Response.WriteFile("C:\\"+ filename);
Response.Flush();
Response.Close();
i use clientscript to call the page to make it open at new window and download the file. the code work well in Maxthon and Firefox, but is not working at IE. the new window just open and close with nothing happen.
any idea how should i solve that?
