Extract emailid and name from the following

I am downloading emails via a custom vb.net program.
Having problem extracting the name and emailid, i am getting the info in the following 4 formats.
Having so much difficult extracting, please need a logic.
 
Here are the 4 formats i am receiving, now need to extract the info and assign name to one variable, and emailid to another variable.
Sometimes, i am just getting the emailid, in that case the emailid will be straightaway assigned to both name and emailid.
John Gibson <jgib@gmail.com>, John, Gibson <jgib@gmail.com>; <jgib@gmail.com> "jgib@gmail.com" <jgib@gmail.com> name gets assigned to this variable: tmpToNAME emailid gets assigned to this variable: tmpToEMAIL Thank you very much for the helpful info.
