Need a suggestion on config file

Hi All,
           I created a database by using Web SIte Administration tool wizard. Did some changes in machine.config like <ConnectionString>, <Membership> and <roleManager>. It is working fine on my machine.
             My question is , if i upload my project on my server then how should i make changes in there machine.config file? Or have i do any changes in my web.config file itself?

            Can anybody know this?
