Get variable value from codebehind

 Hello
How do I get a variable from codebehind to my aspx page?

I want something like this:
codebehind:
public string TestVar1 = "Something";

aspx-file:
<asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text='<% TestVar1 %>'>

I am aware that I can write "Label1.Text = TestVar1;" in codebehind, but it isn't quite what I seek.


Can anyone help me out? :)
