At the moment I am looking into creating an online merchant shop, this is just about complete bar for the processing payments section. It is something that I have absolutely no experience in so basically I'm wondering if some kind soul could throw a few pointers (no C++ pun intended) my way..
I am using an online merchant provider acting as a payment gateway and it basically requires four variables in the form of merchant_id, trans_id, amount and callback..
The question I have is... how do you post these variables from a code behind file and redirect to another website with these variables intact.. I've tried response.addheader (variable, name) etc... I also know about performing and post and reading a response but that wont work because the user needs to be redirected to fill in their credit/debit card details first. This can be done pretty easily in javascript I suspect but was hoping for a more elegan ...
