I don?t know if this is the right Forum to post this on, but I will start here. I?m fairly new to .NET so this is probably something I?m doing wrong. I appreciate any help I can get with this issue.
We have a WebService. It has a function that sends out email. We built it with VS Studio 2008.
In Internet Information Services I created a virtual directory for it. I built the WebService and published it on my local workstation.
In my browser I entered the address of the .asmx file, http://localhost/TestMail/DDSMailService.asmx
I selected the function, entered the parameters for it, clicked the <invoke> button.
It works fine. I get the email. Life is good!
Now I try run ...
