I am brand new to asp.net, and have a little bit of experience with C#... I am have built a simple lead database, which shows the filterable leads on a gridview, with a seperate formview page passed through a query string.

I want to add a button on the formview page, that when pressed, will email the lead, with a templated html email.

I cannot seem to figure out how to get the info to pass outside of the templates of the formview though, I tried using eval and bind, with no luck... What I want to do, is have the button click call a method, and in that method would have the send mail information, i.e. to: <Eval clientsemailaddress> etc. And at some point, have the email template created through FCK or something similiar, so I dont have to edit the page template.

How do I get that information out of the DB to pass to the method? =/ Im so confused!
