New to SQL server and trying desperately to get to first base!!!!
Using the example from here

I have done all as stated with the exception that I am trying to access a database called crashcourse on my local machine.
My connection string is
PROVIDER=SQLOLEDB;DATA SOURCE=(local);INITIAL CATALOG=crashcourse; INTEGRATED SECURITY=sspi;
but all I get is the error message
Sql Server does not exist or access denied.
