Help retrieving data

Hi, i'm a newbie for asp.net and i would to retrieving the data based on the input on a textbox can someone guide me?

 Example

i do have a dropdownlist and also a label

whenever the user select any value from the dropdownlist then i would like the prices to be generate on the label.

can some 1 guide me on this method?
