I have recently updated my company's website to use forms authentication with a custom profile provider so that I did not have to update our user tables.
However, I need to update our website to allow users to have access to multiple companies. We have thousands of companies we work with, and currently a user is only associated with one company (therefore if they need access to another branch of that company, they have to have a second login) I need to make it so one user can log in and be under one company branch (and see that branch's accounts) and then they can switch to another one of their available companies to see those accounts. I just want one login/password per user.
I want to keep using the profile in asp.net. What I really wanted to do was have the user table contain all the user/password information (one per user) and then have the profile table contain multiple profiles per user...and then when they want to ...
