I need some direction. I have a website abc.com that is bound to its own ip, I also have a dns entry that is binding *.abc.com to the same ip. therefore the following sites all pull up the same site.
city1.abc.com
city2.abc.com
city3.abc.com
What I would like to do is filter the apps data that gets sent to the user based upon the subdomain value, in the example above, city1, city2, or city3. Where would be the best place to do this? would I be best to have a check within the Page_load of each page that resets a session vairiable, or would I be better to store it within a user profile. I can see many different ways of accomplishing this but would like some help figuring out the best approach. This site will hopefully become fairly busy so I would like to create this aspect of it as efficiently as possible.
