I am running SQLserver express 2008 r2 32 bit.
I used to be able to connect to it by using a connection string such as :
data source=.\SQLEXPRESS;Integrated Security=SSPI;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|\aspnetdb.mdf;User Instance=true" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"
I now have to use:
data source=(local)\SQLEXPRESS;Integrated Security=SSPI;AttachDBFilename=|DataDirectory|\aspnetdb.mdf;User Instance=true" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient"
computer name also works.
Is there a way to correct this.
I uninstalled sql and reinstalled sql with the same problem.
