Hi All, new to the forum,
I would like to start developing with ASP and C#.NET but not sure what development environment I need.
I have a laptop running windows7 home edition. I know how to install express versions of visual studio and sql server.
As I am new to web dev, I need to know where asp runs, if I can develop on my current OS and if brinkster is suitable as the free hosting?
Also, I'm a bit confused regarding the different versions of ASP.NET. Which should I start with? ASP.NET MVC stands out for some reason.
Can anyone help with these questions?
