Calendar with events on it

Hi, I'm doing a class registration project in asp.net. I get a list of classes from a database and they have stuff like name, description, date, etc...
 
How can I put these details into a calendar? For example...on the day that equals the date of the class, It would have like the class name or something similar.
 
Any ideas how to do that or any links to where I can read more about the asp calendar?
