I've seen many posts and blogs which discuss SQL technologies and several discuss some kind of EXEC script with "sp_xxx" and then "GO".
What is this and how do I run these myself? For example, I saw some discussion on error logs and the author wrote that you should execute the following command:
EXEC sp_cycle_errorlog
GO
I've been using MS Visual Studio 2005 and MS SQL 2005 Express and I've no idea how to run these EXEC scripts. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
