Calculations and Control Of Detailsview

Hello everybody,

  I am trying to control my Detailview. Basically, after editing on the Detailview, I want to be able to hide it. At the moment, what i've got gives me the ability to edit the detailsview but it doesn't hide/close it after the edit. Could you pls tell me how I can achieve this?
