Access to the path 'X:\yyyy' is denied.

Hi,
I am trying to write a file to a folder on my local c drive. 
However i am getting this error:
"Access to the path 'X:\yyyy' is denied."
I have access as an administrator. I have all the access required on this folder, everything!
Yest it gives me the error..!
