I have an ASP.NET website, in VS2005 C#.
Story so far:
I have an account method signup, using asp:LoginView and other standard asp.net contols, my SQL database has all of the aspnet_ tables, and everything works fine. Users logon, and I use
User.Identity.Name (System.Security.Principal) on any page to determine whether from their username if they are allowed to see the page or not. This all works great :)
The problem:
However, I am now trying to "Screen Scape" a particular page (when the user clicks the "save" button), I need to create a history of the page, and want to save each state of the page to disk on the server.
Effectively this all works fine apart from when I try to place some security onto the page.
I'm trying to us System.Net.WebClient, (or WebRequest or HttpWebRequest) and here lies ...
