Hi,
I have written a web application that checks the status of a windows service, installs, starts, stops and uninstalls.  I had this working fine whilst in development on localhost after I did the following:
Modified the web.config <system.web> and add this <identity impersonate="true" /> Also needed to go to IIS -> [Website] -> Properties -> Directory Security -> Edit (Anonymous Access and Authentication Control) and turn off Anonymous Access and turn on Integrated Windows Authentication. That worked fine because I was logged in as an administrator I guess.
I then moved the application to my web server.  However, I realised (not really knowledgable with security) that turning Anonymous Access off brings up a login box.  Hmmm that is no good as I have my own login methods to my website backend (where the above mentioned is run), so basically I do not use windows logins. ...

Go to the complete details ...
