FormsAuthentication.SignOut() results in System.NullReferenceException

Hi. I am getting a "System.NullReferenceException" when I call  FormsAuthentication.SignOut() from Session_End method in global.asax.  Code is as follow: void Session_End(object sender, EventArgs e)
