I dont know what I am doing wrong but here it is. I am trying to get the value of a SqlDataSource(SqlDataSource1-Only one select value), of type Date, in a Masterpage (MasterPage1), and send it to the Default page(Default.aspx) by means of a session variable["Dete"] by using the event of a button(cmdOne). The button is in the Masterpage and so is the SqlDataSource. The Default page has aslo has a SqlDataSource and a Data Control (DataList1).
When the button is clicked on the Masterpage, I want it to compare the date in the textbox to the value of the SqlDataSource on the Master Page (which can be bound to a control if necessary). If there is an entry of the date entered in the textbox to the SqlDataSource on the MasterPage then and only then can it bind the SqlDataSource on the Default page to its Data Control (DataList1).
