I have a website in which I am using the default settings for the membership provider. The password for users is hashed, resetting it requires the question/answer. I also have an administration section in which I would like the admins to be able to reset a users password and have it emailed to them without having to know the answer to the question. I would like to do this in case a user forgets both his password and his security answer. I know how to reset the password with C#, but b/c I have it set to require the answer, it requires it in the code behind too. I have a separate web.config file for the admin section, and thought of maybe changing the settings for just the admin section that way. But I couldn't get it to work, not how to go about it. Any help would be great!
