Hi all,
This is my first post on these forums and I am not too sure if this is the right place to ask anything about customization of the Membership in C#.
Here is the problem anyway. We have a site that has its own user login procedure and we want to adapt a version of this using the Membership that is provided by .Net.
Problem comes when I want 2 other tables to be populated. I have a table for User Organisations and another one for User Group. For the sake of the system, I'd like to customize something so that I can call a create user function that will take 2 additional parameters (orgID and GroupID) and fill in the relevant tables. But for the life of me, I just cannot figure out what to do.
Should I override the MembershipProvider? I thought this was only to use a different support for storing/reading the user data...
Override the MembershipUser?
or what else?

Any example would be appreciated.
Kindest Regards, Alex
