Using ClubWebSite - Trouble with DataSet DBNull

All,

I am currently having problems with this set of code:
if (!dr.IsAvatarSizeNull())
{
avatarimage.ImageUrl = "AvatarImagefetch.ashx?UserID=" + user.ProviderUserKey.ToString();
 

}

else

{
avatarimage.ImageUrl = "bannerflat.gif";
 

}

If a put a breakpoint at the start of the IF statement, I can see that the debugger is saying that the column is DBNull, but I know it is not. Here is some additional output from the debugger....
