Hi All.
Basically, i have a required validation control for a text box that is on the page. If the user enters something, the data goes into a gridview. Anyway, I have a continue button which checks if page.isvalid = true and then adds the data to the gridview. The problem occurs when for example there is nothing in the textbox, the continue button is clicked, the error message is displayed in the validation summary. This is correct. However, upon entering some data thereafter in the textbox and then clicking on the continue button, it binds the data to the grid view which is correct. However, the error message remains in the validation summary control.
Why is this happening and how do i get rid of it?
