Reset Password problem

I have a small problem with calling ResetPassword on a MembershipUser.
If I add the PasswordRecovery control to a form, I am able to reset the password and receive it via email.
If I try to call ResetPassword on a user in code it resets the password, but I get no email. The Email field is correct and the LastPasswordChangedDate has been updated.
 
MembershipUser user = Membership.GetUser(txtUserName.Text);
user.ResetPassword();
 
Any ideas?
