Word XML Reference

We have a spreadsheet XML reference from MSDN where we can prepare a XML file and Excel would open it as a spreadsheet right? Is there a similar library for Microsoft Word too?

Something similar to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/aa140066(v=office.10).aspx for Microsoft Word?
