Hi,
I´d like to know if sb could advise me, if what i´m doing is correct or not. I am yet to use the profile features provided by asp.net.
The problem is, apart from all my asp.net membership tables, I have an aspnet_users table joined to another table which provides extra data for each user: data of birth, address, city, etc,...
So far the application won´t use annoymous users. So I don´t see a need in adding an extra table which will provide me this information.
I thought of:
1) Create my own profile class inheriting from profile base. Similiar to this : http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive/2008/01/19/writing-a-custom-asp-net-profile-class.aspx
2) Create on overload of the Create method, so it will retrieve the data, from my datatable, and set all the properties.
3) Override the save method, so it updates the tabl ...

Go to the complete details ...
